Super Engineer trials start - with email
We're excited to announce that we've released the first 'interface' into Super Engineer's AI - which is the humble 'email'.
Simply send a technical query to help@superengineer.app and you'll get assistance from Super Engineer (within c.2 mins).
It's that easy ;-)
Get answers from text and image queries
Super Engineer can give technical answers from both text and image-based queries.
So for example, if you don't know what the piece of equipment and you don't know how to use it / it's broken, you can take a photo and send a question to Super Engineer - and it will:
Identify the piece of equipment for you
Give you step-by-step help as to how to fix it (with answers sourced directly from instruction manuals)

Example queries
Super Engineer will work on any tech product, but is at its best when answering questions on 'core property infrastructure' (i.e. things like intruder / fire alarms, smart doorbells & thermostats, EV chargers & HVAC systems).
An easy way to test it is to literally take a photo of the closest bit of tech to you, and ask it a question.
For example, my wife got it to fix our water softener (which had stopped sending SMS notifications), and sat in our kitchen I asked it how our bread maker works.

If you want examples of more serious / technical queries to ask it, then here are some examples you could use:
Power light flashing on Veritas alarm & beeping. What's wrong?
Orisec app not sending notifications - how to fix?
Can I connect my Dahua camera to my Texecom Premier alarm & have it trigger the alarm when it detects movement? And how to do this?
Why email?!
Although the primary interface into Super Engineer will be via an app, we thought we'd run early tests of the core 'Brain' of our AI using email.
As email is a 100% no-frills media, it seemed like a clean way to get initial feedback specifically on the quality and accuracy of answers.
N.B. the email experience includes a response lag of c.2 mins, whereas the app response will be quicker.
Constructive feedback please ;-)
Feedback is hugely important to us, so once you've had a play / sent a few queries, if you could spend 2 mins filling in our feedback form that would be amazing - feedback form link here >
What next?
We've started with email, however that's v.much the start of our product journey. The two main future ways field engineers will interact with Super Engineer will be:
App
AR Glasses
Additionally, if you're running a tech support team, then other ways of connecting with Super Engineer will include:
Email
WhatsApp
Web form
Slack
Voice (you'll literally be able to call it & have a one-on-one chat with Super Engineer)
Here's an example of 'Ninja Mode' in action - helping tackle a particularly complex problem:
And here's an example of 'Super Glasses' - this is AR Glasses + Super Engineer. The vision being that field service engineers will wear AR (Augmented Reality) Glasses which will (via a camera on the front) immediately identify a piece of equipment, and then provide faulty-fixing guidance in a heads-up display, along with having audio answers delivered via earphones.
Looking for launch partners
We're due to launch the full-fat version of the Super Engineer App in January (2026) and are looking for early partners to do this with. So if you're interested, please add your name to our waitlist here >>
